  I think the food is very expensive for what you get. My children did not get filled up. I didn't like the quality or portions of the food. It would be better if it had more of a dinner atmosphere. Using real plates than cheap paper tubs to eat out of.
  Sorry I will not go back.

  Authentic, intentional, hearty. This place is a classic in the making. You can tell whoever is in charge is taking the time to do things right. The atmosphere is fast-casual, like your favorite BBQ joint. The food is good, hearty and satisfying, and the price is just right. A regular spot for me and my 20-something friends.

  I have enjoyed Chapulines three times now and every time has been incredible. The quality & taste are unparalleled, the restaurant is clean, and supporting local business is great. If you're trying to decide, give this place a shot & make sure you get some queso!
